ふいにある光景を憶いだすことがあります。
それはある音、ある匂い、ある色、ある光などを媒介にして、皮膚に留まっていた身体的な記憶からくるのかもしれません。
その一方で、日々周りにあふれている情報から、二次的、三次的な経験の層を作り出してもいるわたしたちが、いま見ているこの風景を10年、20年、50年先に憶いだす時、思ってもみなかったものがそのsignとなって甦ってくるのではないかと予感します。
この作品が、複次的に作られてきた身体的な記憶に繋がっていく回路を探す手がかりとなればとおもっています。


Suddenly,
I may begin to think of a certain scenery.
There is often it through a certain sound, a certain smell, a certain color, a certain light.
It may come from physical memory.
On the other hand, the segment of our experience that is influenced by mass media.
When we think back this scenery ten years, twenty years, fifty years later,
It may revives the sign which we were not able to imagine it.
I wish this work becomes the clue leading to physical memory.
